Seeking alimony and the custody of her child, Rosa Ventura, a minor, through her father, Joseph Lascola, 551 West Ninth Street, filed a petition in the Court of Domestic Relations yesterday. Rosa Ventura was married to Samuel Ventura, 1534 Freeman Avenue, in December 1918, she declares, at Newport, Ky. She declares that since their marriage she had to depend upon the generosity of her parents to clothe, maintain and support her and her child.

She says that Ventura left her several times and deserted her on July 13, 1919, and had not returned to their home since. She was compelled, she declares, to cause her husband's arrest for nonsupport of her child, and, although he was ordered to support the child, he neglected to contribute toward the support of the infant. Ventura representing himself to be un married, joined the army at Ft. Thomas last August, she alleges.²
