William's other daughters were to receive 12 pounds or 2 good cows whenever they married or reached the age of 21. So Sarah was to receive more, and there was no stipulation about coming of age. This suggests she was already older than 21 when the will was written. So she was born before 1783. She probably wasn't born in the middle of the 12 year gap between the birth of Alexander from William's first marriage in 1776 and the birth of Charles from his second marriage in 1788. So it's more likely she was born soon after Alexander, in 1777 or so.

Calculation for Sarah's estimated death: Sarah is mentioned in a June 24, 1805 codicil to her father's York County will and she is not mentioned in his June 10, 1815 Kings County will. Family tradition says she never married, so we conclude she passed away between these dates.
