He was born May 30, 1950 in Georgetown, a son of the late B.B. Luthi and the late Margaret Altman Luthi. Mr. Luthi was a crane operator and a skilled carpenter. He was a 1968 graduate of Winyah High School. Mr. Luthi was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Wayne United Methodist Church.
Surviving are: one daughter, Michelle L. Wood (Kenneth) of Georgetown; two grandsons, Samuel Wood and Ethan Wood; one brother, George P. Luthi (Suzan) of Statesville, N.C; two sisters, Sister L. Byrum (David) of Chapin, and Melanie L. Goins (Eddie) of Georgetown; and three nieces.⁴ He was buried on 18 July 2008 at Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens, Georgetown, Georgetown, South Carolina.²

GEORGETOWN — Joyce Cameron Stevenson, 76, died Tuesday, December 12, 2006, in Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Stevenson was born in Marion April 10, 1930, a daughter of the late Julius Elmore “Red” Cameron, Sr. and Tommie Belle Godbold Cameron. She grew up in Georgetown and graduated from Winyah High School. Mrs. Stevenson was employed as a bookkeeper at Cameron Pharmacy for many years and was a former Georgetown Recreation Department Youth Club Chaperone. She was a member of Georgetown Presbyterian Church, where she served her church as secretary and as a member of the building fund committee.
Surviving are her husband, William Samuel Stevenson, Sr. of Georgetown; a daughter, Joy Stevenson Brock of Georgetown; a son, William “Rusty” S. Stevenson, Jr. and his wife, Kathi, of Georgetown; a brother, Elmore Cameron, Jr. and his wife, Anne, of Pawleys Island; three sisters, Frances C. Johnson of Miami, Fla., Linda C. Bailey and her husband, Herb, and Anita C. Hall and her husband, Billy, all of Georgetown; three granddaughters, Michelle Wood and her husband, Kenneth, Shelby B. Brown and her husband, William, and Jana E. Stevenson, all of Georgetown; two grandsons, Joshua N. Hill and Williams S. “Tripp” Stevenson, III, both of Georgetown; a great-granddaughter, Lexi Brown of Georgetown; and three great-grandsons, J.J. Hill, Samuel Wood and Ethan Wood, all of Georgetown.
Funeral services will be two o’clock Thursday afternoon, December 14, 2006, at Georgetown Presbyterian Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Stephen H. Wilkins. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.

     Edwin Orletus Locke was born on 20 November 1820 at Little Valley, Cattaraugus, New York.³ He was the son of Dr William Starrett Locke and Julia Bucklin.³ Edwin Orletus Locke married Mahala Nahana Fish, daughter of Nathaniel Fish and Nancy Huntington, on 13 May 1838.³ Edwin Orletus Locke was born at Vermont.⁴ He was occupation listed as attorney in 1850 Census. Also described as a circuit magistrate. on 21 August 1850.^5,6 He and Mahala Nahana Fish appeared on the census of 21 August 1850 at Little Valley, Cattaraugus, New York.⁵ Edwin Orletus Locke died in 1853 at Little Valley, Cattaraugus, New York.²

     Mahala Nahana Fish was seer facilitating seances.⁵ She was born on 30 November 1820 at Mansfield, Little Valley, Cattaraugus, New York.^6,3,4 She was the daughter of Nathaniel Fish and Nancy Huntington.^3,4 Mahala Nahana Fish married Edwin Orletus Locke, son of Dr William Starrett Locke and Julia Bucklin, on 13 May 1838.³ As of before 1843,her married name was Locke.¹ Mahala Nahana Fish and Edwin Adelbert Locke lived after 1850 at Cleveland, Ohio.⁵ Mahala Nahana Fish lived between 1850 and 1865 at Cleveland, Ohio.⁷ She and Edwin Orletus Locke appeared on the census of 21 August 1850 at Little Valley, Cattaraugus, New York.⁸ As of after 1853,her married name was Gay her second husband's name was either Gay or Guay.⁴ As of after 1853,her married name was Guay her second husband's name was either Gay or Guay.⁴ Mahala Nahana Fish married (?)      Dr William Starrett Locke was born on 28 February 1793 at Rockingham, Windham, Vermont.² He married Julia Bucklin in 1816 at Wallingford, Vermont.^1,2 Dr William Starrett Locke died in February 1825 at Crown Point, Essex, New York.²

     Walter D West was born in 1875 at Connecticut.^2,3,4 He married Hellen Ouida Locke, daughter of Edwin Adelbert Locke and Mary Elizabeth Kennedy, between 1914 and 1916; According to 1930 Census, Hellen's age when married was 27 and she was born cir. 1888 that makes the marriage take place cir. 1915. This agrees with daughter Dorthory born cir. 1917.

Also, Walter West was age 41 when married. With a birthdate of 1874 this would place the marriage cir. 1916.⁵ Walter D West and Hellen Ouida Locke appeared on the census of 24 April 1930 at 98 Bank Street, Lebanon Twsp, Grafton, New Hampshire.⁶

     Thomas Edwin West married Cecile (?). Thomas Edwin West is the son of Walter D West and Hellen Ouida Locke.¹
