John Dowling Sr. R.S. witnessed the Milt-Note of an unknown person circa 1779 at South Carolina; 'JAMES and JOHN "Duling" served in Benton's Regiment' under Francis Marion, known as 'The Swamp Fox' according to the 'History of the Old Cheraws' by Alexander Gregg.² He married Nancy Boutwell, daughter of Burtonhead Boutwell, in 1783.³ John Dowling Sr. R.S. died before 2 June 1826 at Darlington, South Carolina.⁴

Tuten appeared on the census of 25 April 1910 at Goethe Township, Hampton, South Carolina.¹

      George Odom James was also known as George Odom James.¹ He died in 1965 at St. Petersburg, Pinellas, FL; Died of heart attack.¹

     William Joseph Zoz was born on 18 September 1894 at Cincinnati, Hamilton, Ohio. He was the son of Joseph J. Zoz and Juliana Schlick. William Joseph Zoz married Sylvia Barbara Bennett, daughter of Claude Bennett and Josephine Jacob, on 18 November 1922 at St Francis Seraph Church, Cincinnati, Hamilton, Ohio.¹ William Joseph Zoz died on 23 April 1950 at Cincinnati, Hamilton, Ohio, at age 55.

Zoz filed for divorce from an unknown person on 31 July 1925 at Hamilton, Ohio; Petition for divorce was filed but apparently withdrawn.¹ He and an unknown person were divorced between 31 July 1925 and 11 September 1926; Apparently got a divorce in another county besides Hamilton.¹ He married Ada Kloak on 11 September 1926 at Lebanon, Warren, Ohio; Married before Rev. Emil Baum.¹ Joseph J. Zoz died on 12 January 1935 at Cincinnati, Hamilton, Ohio, at age 62.¹

     Claude Bennett was born on 10 January 1883 at Williamstown, KY. He was the son of Alfred Bennett and Harriet Alice Loudin Stapelton. Claude Bennett married Josephine Jacob, daughter of Frank J. Jacob and Louise Fischer, circa 1900.¹ Claude Bennett died in December 1911 at Shreveport, LA, at age 28.¹

     Her married name was Bennett.¹ Josephine Jacob was born on 20 October 1879 at Cincinatti, Hamilton, Ohio. She was the daughter of Frank J. Jacob and Louise Fischer. Josephine Jacob married Claude Bennett, son of Alfred Bennett and Harriet Alice Loudin Stapelton, circa 1900.¹ Josephine Jacob died on 22 May 1922 at Cincinnati, Hamilton, Ohio, at age 42; Died from acute peritonitis.¹ She was buried at St. Marys Cemetary, St. Bernard, Ohio.²

     Alfred Bennett was born on 27 November 1862 at Williamstown, KY. He was the son of Wesley Bennett and Catharine Marksberry. Alfred Bennett married Harriet Alice Loudin Stapelton in 1879 at Williamstown, KY. Alfred Bennett Had a total of eight children.¹ He died on 7 February 1924 at Bellevue, KY, at age 61.

She When she was about five years old, her parents and her brother were coming from Pennsylvania when the parents were drowned in the Scioto River. The children were brought to Cincinnati. She was brought to the Cincinnati Orphan Asylum by Mrs. Vance, her aunt. After being at the orphanage from June 30, 1871, she was indentured to a Mr. Hogan of Williamstown, KY, August 1, 1871, to help with his children. Boys were adopted from the orphanage and not indentured so there was not information regardig her brother.

Per information obtained from the Cinti Historical Society by Helen Bennett circa 1866 at Cincinnati, Hamilton, Ohio.¹ She married Alfred Bennett, son of Wesley Bennett and Catharine Marksberry, in 1879 at Williamstown, KY. Harriet Alice Loudin Stapelton died on 16 February 1934 at age 72; Died of myocardial insufficiency.¹ She died on 17 February 1934 at Bellevue, KY, at age 72.¹ She was buried after 17 February 1934 at Evergreen Cemetary, Bellevue, KY.¹

     LaVerne J. Zoz is the daughter of William Joseph Zoz and Sylvia Barbara Bennett. LaVerne J. Zoz married Robert Seiler on 16 October 1948 at Cincinatti, Hamilton, Ohio.¹ LaVerne J. Zoz and Robert Seiler were divorced.
